How to Unlock Hyakue

The unlock condition is 10 successful Issen counter-attacks in a single battle — a "Special Sparring" prompt appears when the requirement is met. The rules, verified across the community:

• The 10 Issen must happen within one continuous battle — the counter resets if the battle ends, and reports say it also resets if you kill enemies mid-fight, so farm them without finishing the group.
• Avoid instant-kill moves while farming: two-handed heavy attacks and Break Issen finishers can end the fight early and reset the count.
• Farm against fast, weak mobs (sword foot-soldiers are ideal) and chain one Issen after another.
• The discovery is credited to players (originally shared by AkiraSoftFemboy) — the battle exists in the expanded demo, not in the June demo.

Hyakue Moveset & Strategy
